Several Hungarian premieres took place at the festival, among them a performance by the Linz Theatre of the chamber opera Picknick im Felde by the Cypriot Constantinos Stylianou, and another by the Savaria Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian composer Péter Eötvös's Levitation.

Eötvös' chamber opera Radames, directed by András Almási-Tóth and conducted by Gergely Vajda, was also on the programme.

The Budapest Puppet Theatre brought Bartók's The Wooden Prince and The Miraculous Mandarin to the stage.

The seminar offered an extraordinary opportunity to the participating singers, conductors and directors to get to know Bartók's works better by working on a production of Bluebeard's Castle with the assistance of Eötvös, Vajda and Gergely Kovalik, among others.
