All three of the recipients attended the award ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria.
The AHF's George Washington Award acknowledges people who have made lasting contributions to the arts, sciences and economy, as well as to Americans who have shown exemplary support of Hungarian culture. Past recipients include Ede Teller, Yehudi Menuhin, Andre Kertész, Joseph Pulitzer and Adolph Zuckor.
