The Pécs2010 programme was presented to the ambassadors in the morning, and after lunch, Mayor Zsolt Páva and official ambassador for the programme Vujity Tvrtko took them on a tour of the city. They saw the building sites of the Pécs Conference and Concert Centre and the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, and visited Pécs's "wall of padlocks", to which lovers attach a lock as a symbol of their inseparability. There, Romanian ambassador Ireny Comaroschi left a lock to express "a love for the city".
Dutch cultural attaché Jan Kennis said that in spite of his recent critical remarks of preparations in Pécs, he was now convinced that the city deserved to bear the European Capital of Culture title.
