Animated Hungarian Films Show in Bucharest

On the weekend programme are the classic Vuk, by Attila Dargay, and the more recent Nyócker, from Áron Gauder, and Macskafogó 2, by Béla Ternovszky. Modern Animated Tales, a series of three-minute shorts that have functioned as a kind of public service message on Hungarian public televion, will also be shown. The series is the brainchild of Géza M. Tóth, whose short Maestro, was nominated for an Academy Award.

 
The films will be shown in Hungarian with Romanian subtitles.
 
Antal Bayer, an editor at Képes Publishing and the chairman of the Hungarian Graphic Novels Publishers Association, will present a selection of graphic novels from Hungary at the event.
