Visitors will see screenings of anime classics such as Akira. They will also get to meet Hungarian actors who dub anime shown on Hungary's Animax channel, said Antal Solti of the Hungarian Anime Society.
Also on the programme will be a presentation of Japanese tea-drinking traditions and another on cosplays - the practice of dressing up as one's favourite anime character. Visitors will get a chance to practice their origami and calligraphy skills as well as sing for a karaoke challenge.
A number of publishers will present new manga volumes, including the second instalment of Real/Fake Princess, the fourth instalment of Tarot Café, Who Fighter and the second instalment of Naruto.
The Hungarian Anime Society was established by manga and anime fans from 16 cities and towns in Hungary in 2003.
