Author Magda Szabo dies at 90

(MTI) - Szabo also wrote dramas, essays and poetry. She was a teacher in her native Debrecen in northeast Hungary for many years.
    Her books have been translated into many languages and she was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Kossuth Prize in 1978, the Attila Jozsef Prize in 1959 and 1972 and the French literary prize Prix Femina Etranger for the best foreign novel in 2003.
