(MTI) - This year's lakeside festival organised at Balatonzamardi between July 7 and 10 featured international acts as Portishead, lounge and downtempo group Thievery Corporation and British electronic group Underworld. Dutch trance superstars Tiesto and Armin van Buuren were among international DJs at the event.
When things got too hot - the mercury hit 38.1 degrees at one point - festival-goers plunged into the lake.
Around 10 percent of the mainly high-school and university students arrived from abroad, mainly from Italy, France and the Netherlands.
Last year Balaton Sound drew 92,000 visitors.
