| The Béjart-company performing their play 80 days |
The Best of Béjart - Love Dance will include selections from the company's productions of Le sacre du printemps and Romeo and Juliet as well as choreographies to the music of U2 and Queen. Costumes for the production were designed by Versace.
The second part of the performance, to take place in Szeged's central Dom Square, will feature a work choreographed by the troupe's artistic director Gil Roman. The Casino of Spirits was commissioned by Béjart for the 50th anniversary of the troupe and was his tribute to Venice.
The evening will close with one of Béjart's most original choreographies, to the music of Ravel's Bolero.
Tickets for Love and Dance are on sale at the Open-Air Festival ticket office. The performances will be held in Dóm Square on July 17 and 18.
