The Madwoman, The Doctor, The Disciples and The Devil

"Kunstenfestivaldesarts is a festival dedicated to new creations, intended for artists with a personal outlook on the world and spectators willing to question their own views," the organisers say on their website.

The Béla Pintér troupe will bring with them The Madwoman, The Doctor, The Disciples and The Devil, performing the piece on five evenings this week.
The troupe performed The Beggar's Opera and My Mother's Nose at the festival in previous years.

Alternative companies from 16 countries will perform at dozens of venues around Brussels. On the programme is a musical play by the composer Heiner Goebbels, a dance piece by Swiss choreographer Thomas Hauert and the German Rimini Protocoll's play Call Cutta. The Hungarian Eszter Salamon will present her fantasy Dance No. 1 at the festival. A graduate of the Hungarian Dance Academy, Salamon has been living in Paris since 1992.
