The retrospective, organised with the support of the Hungarian Institute of Tallinn and the Hungarian Film Union, will start with Family Nest (1977) and end with The Man From London (2007). Satantango (1994), thought by some to be Tarr?s crowning achievement and a milestone in the history of cinema, will be shown for only the second time in Lithuania.
Bibliotheque Pascal by Szabolcs Hajdu and Adrienn Pál by Ágnes Kocsis, both made with the support of the Hungarian Motion Picture Foundation, will also be included on the festival programme.
Tarr will attend the festival to start on October 1.
The festival will travel to Vilnius from October 11.
