The A38's My City series focuses on some of Europe's most remarkable cities by bringing together artists from the city as well as a guide who lives there to put things in perspective. This My City series puts Belgrade in the spotlight. The guide will be the renowned playwright and theatre director Biljana Srbljanovi.
Among the highlights of the programme are a screening of Huddersfield (2007), by Ivan Zivkovi. The film focuses on the search for identity in the 20th century. Nasti, the resident DJ of the Mondo and Incognito clubs in Belgrade will also perform.
Boris Miti's Pretty Dyana (2003), which examines the makeovers Roma give their Dyana and Citron cars, will also be screened. The film features a soundtrack of local music contrasted with the best of Michael Jackson and Paul Anka.
