The festival will kick off with screenings of several children?s films and a performance by Psí Vojáci, a Czech band which has gained a following in Budapest. Visací Zámek, a newcomer on the Czech Republic?s punk scene, will also play for the first time in Budapest.
Erik Sumo will play on Saturday, followed by Monika Naceva.
Both days will see performances by Jim Cert on accordion and Čindži renta krumlovi (Balkans Gypsy Music Band), which played in Hungary to great acclaim in 2003.
This year?s Bohemia Festival will offer Czech film enthusiasts a taste of classic works such as ?Birds, Orphans, and Madmen?, directed by Juraj Jakubisko, ?The Faust Lesson?, directed by Jan Svankmajer, and ?The Magicians of the Silver Screen?, directed by Jiri Menzel.
