"Ready, Steady, Money!" (Ez kész! Pénz!) drew a surprising number of viewers when it was shown in Hungary on commercial television station Minimax. The series has also proved popular in the Czech Republic, where it sold 21,000 copies on DVD, and in Romania. Talks are underway on broadcast and distribution rights for other European countries too.
A former Hungarian finance minister served as a consultant for the film.
The series can be purchased on DVD in Hungary only at Tesco, but will soon be available at newsstands and stores where educational materials are sold.
