Budapest Art Galleries Host "Collectors Evening"

Kálmán Makláry Fine Arts opened a show of new work by the artist Major Kamill, who lives in France and whose paintings are on display in the Pompidou and the Musée d'Art in Paris. The Makláry also presented a collection of surrealistic graphic works by Gábor Mezei, who is a graduate of the college of applied arts, but has elevated his work to fine art.
 
 
The Bardoni Intérieur showed paintings bursting with colour by the young artist Lilla Makláry.
 
The Poster Gallery, which recently opened in Falk Miksa Street, showed the best of its collection of film posters along with other vintage posters.
 
 
Ferenczi and Co. Auction House and Gallery opened an exhibition of work by the Czech graphic artist Oldrich Kulhánek, who designed the new Czech banknotes.
