Budapest Celebrates Culture of Marseille

Among the highlights of the showcase of dance, music and cinema will be the world premiere of the film Cassos in the French Institute on November 28. The director Philippe Carrése will attend the screening, which will take place well before the film opens in French cinemas.
 
On November 15, Denis Gheerbrant?s documentary La République Marseille will be screened, and Henri Verneuil?s Mayrig will be shown on the following day. The historian Piroska Dzsotján Krajcsir will speak about the city?s past after the screening of Mayrig.
 
The Örökmozgó will screen Robert Guédiguian?s Snows of Kilimanjaro on the 20th, Karim Dridi?s Khamsa on the 21st, Alexander Korda and Marcel Pagnol?s Marius on the 22nd and Guédiguian?s The Town is Quiet on the 23rd.
 
The A38 Ship, an events venue docked in the Danube, will host some of the hottest acts on France?s electronica scene on November 17-18.
