The 36 images taken by Andras Villanyi will give a snapshot of the day-to-day life, rituals and celebrations of the community, the artist told MTI on Tuesday.
The images to go on display at the Autonomous Orthodox Israelite Community centre have been selected from Villanyi's vast collection of nearly 50,000 photos taken in the orthodox and neolog communities in Hungary since the 1970s.
The exhibits will form the basic collection of a planned museum to be set up in the centre, said Villanyi.
