Marianne Faithfull in Irina Palm

Previously known as Europe Film Week, the event has been renamed Europe Film Month. It will run from December 1 until 31. Screenings will take place at the Művész Cinema and, for the first time, on the internet at www.filmklik.hu

All of the films shown at the Művész will also be available as streaming video for a small fee from www.filmklik.hu. Payment will be accepted by bank card or mobile phone. Home viewers can submit their votes for best film during Europe Film Month and the film that gets the most will be presented with a Golden Mouse award.

Europe Film Month will kick off with a roundtable talk with producers and directors on online film distribution, moderated by Balázs Lévai, on November 30. The talk will be followed by a screening of Sam Garbaski's film Irina Palm, which features Hungary's Dorka Gryllus opposite Marianne Faithfull.
