The sister city agreement between Florence and Budapest will open a new chapter in the more than 500-year-old economic and cultural relationship between the two cities, Demszky said.
The agreement will add Florence to Budapest's My City event series
A street in Florence was renamed after the 1956 Hungarian Revolution during Demszky's visit.
