The 79 pictures, displayed in four rooms of one of the world's most famous museums, are a unique treat for connoisseurs, art historian Terez Gerszi, who is in charge of the exhibition, told MTI.
The exhibits including works by Maarten van Heemskerck, Jan Vermeyen, Michiel Coxcie, Jan Brueghel, Abraham Bloemaert and Karel van Mander, have been arranged to demonstrate the development of Dutch and Flemish graphic arts at the time of the high and late renaissance periods.
The material for the exhibition was selected from the Hungarian museum's graphic collection of nearly 10,000 pieces.
