The festival is returning this year to show 93 short films picked from almost a thousand entries from 55 countries.
Among the films in competition are ?The Philosopher?, starring Jean Reno, ?Along the Wire?, made with the cooperation of Djoko Rosic, and ?Finale, with Ferenc Elek.
The five-member jury for this year?s festival comprises the French director Djinn Carrénard, Riina Mikkonen of the Tampere Film Festival, director of the Belgrade Youth Media Centre Miomir Rajcevic, the Hungarian director Ágnes Kocsis and permanent member Wolfgang Leis.
Outside of the competition, BuSho visitors can see shorts that missed making the cut by a hair in the Panorama programme. There will also be screenings of the best shorts from partner festivals, including Art Kino Moscow, the Next Festival Bucharest, Signes de Nuit Paris and La Boca Del Lobo Madrid.
BuSho screenings will also take place at cinemas in the Hungarian cities of Szolnok and Szombathely, as well as in Oradea, in Romania, and Kanjiza, Serbia.
