The Catalan La Fura dels Baus will put on stage an all new production combining elements and acrobatic movements of theatre and circus with music, the groups artistic director told the press event. The group, which will celebrate its 30th birthday at the festival, will give five shows, said Miguel Badosa.
Another attraction will be the 50-metre long and two-metre high wall to mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and to be painted by artists on the one side and by island-goers on the other, said Karoly Gerendai.
On Day Zero a ten-hour concert will be organised together with the international organisation Rock Against Racism, he added.
Last year the festival on Budapest's Obuda Island attracted around 385,000 visitors.
