Collegium Hungaricum Show Mixes Art, Sport

English

The show, called Gentle War, ?instrumentalises the Olympic Games in an intermediate manner and provides for an expansion of the horizon over conventional understanding of spot,? CHB says.

?The Loser, Triumph of Failure, Energy Manifesto, Daily Exhaustion or Chess-Boxing ? everything points to a different perspective of sport when one asks an artist.?

The artists in the show included Tamás Almási, János Fodor, Sonja Gerdes, Constantin Hartenstein, Alexey Kallima, Anouk Kruithof, Mutaboroo, Josef Robakowski, Iepe Rubingh, David Szauder, Guido van der Werve and Kexin Zang.

The show will open on June 15 with the premiere of a work of song called The Loser by Hajnal Németh, who represented Hungary at the Venice Biennale in 2011.
