(MTI) - Around 60-80 controllers will be at work to ensure adherence to  regulations during the festival, David Daroczi said. The Tax Office, the Customs and Excise Office and the National Public Health and Medical Officers' Service will be among the eight authorities that will operate controllers at the island, he added.
Controllers will focus on food and water quality, the safety of the venue, including the electric equipment and built structures in use. They will also check if retailers issue proper receipts for purchases and if excise tax regulations are kept.
Managing director of the Sziget Organising Office Karoly Gerendai said police will use sniffer dogs that will randomly check festival-goers for drugs when entering the site and plainclothes police will also be on patrol. He welcomed boosting the presence of controllers at the island.
