The Hungarian Bagpipe Orchestra will start the event in Kossuth Square on Friday. Nu-Roma band !DelaDap, who mix traditional gypsy music with electronica, will follow. !DelaDap was founded by Stani Vana, who moved from Prague to Vienna, where he teamed up with Czech singers, a Serbian guitarist, a Bosnian accordionist and a Russian violinist. The band has already released three albums.
On Saturday, three outstanding folk violinists will perform. On Sunday, Szilvia Bognár and her band will perform, followed by Yava, who play "folcore".
An arts festival and a cultural festival will take place at the same time in Debrecen's Baltazár Square.
