Kennis, deputy director of the SICA organisation which coordinates the international presentation of Dutch culture, worked at the Dutch embassy in Budapest between 2005 and 2010. He was in charge of the LOW Dutch-Flemish Cultural Festival in Budapest and the Nothing is Impossible festival, and made significant contributions to the success of the My City Budapest series.
As a result of Kennis?s efforts, ?interest in Dutch culture in Hungary, as well as interest in Hungarian culture in the Netherlands increased significantly,? the ministry said.
