County officials signed for HUF 491 million in regional development funding that will be used for investments that show visitors what life was like in the late Renaissance in Hungary. There will be audio guides, touchscreen displays, a gift shop and WiFi access. Some rooms in the castle will be converted into multi-functional spaces.
It is hoped the developments will boost the number of visitors to the castle to an annual 20,000-23,000.
