The opening of the exhibition coincided with the start of a conference on opportunity in rural areas.
The photographs were picked from more than 350 submissions from eight countries. Among the finalists are photographers, professional and amateur, from Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Romania, Hungary and Belgium.
The photographs will be on display until November 13. The winners will be announced on December 10, when an album of their submissions will be published.
