Exhibits arrive for Bauhaus exhibition

The 500 paintings, sculptures, documents and photos have been borrowed from private collections and will be on display in the city's Janus Pannonius Museum from August 15.

   
The exhibition seeks to provide a comprehensive picture of the Bauhaus, presenting not only architecture and furniture design but touching upon such areas as experimental theatre.
   

The display will focus on the achievements of noted Hungarian artists of the trend including Breuer, Forbat, Weininger and Moholy-Nagy.

   
The exhibition runs until October 24 before moving on to Berlin.
