The organisers of the Sziget Festival, Hungary's biggest music festival, are organising the four-day Balaton Sound in the town of Zamárdi for the second time this year. So far, 13 acts have been announced for the programme, among them Fatboy Slim, who was the first DJ to gain international rock-star status; Armin Van Buuren, who was named best DJ in the world by a number of industry journals last year; the critically acclaimed English trip hop band Massive Attack and the French hitmaker David Guetta. DJ José Padilla, who had to cancel a performance at the first Balaton Sound, has promised to return to this year's event. Other acts on the programme are Booka Shade, M.A.N.D.Y, LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad, DJ Hype and Daddy Earl, Koop, the Argentine singer Federico Aubele, the Cuban hiphop group Orishas and German reggae artist Gentleman.
