Lajkó, who will perform at the festival with Antal Brasnyó, is sure to present material from his latest album, called Bokorból.
Other musical acts on the programme include Basement Jaxx, Machine Head and Parov Stelar. The Mandala Musical Theatre of Nyíregyhaza will put on a performance of Képzelt riport egy amerikai popfesztiválról, one of Hungary's best know rock operas.
The Hegyalja Festival will celebrate its first decade with an exhibition of photographs by Attila Nyári and Péter Zentai of festival acts between 2000 and 2008.
Literature will also be in the spotlight at the festival: the writers Krisztián Grecsó, Orsolya Karafiáth, László Garaczi and András Cserna-Szabó will be on hand to discuss their works.
Festival-goers can enjoy stand-up comedy every evening at the Jager Bar, starting with the comic Sándor Badár on the first night.
