Festival Promotes Inter-Cultural Dialogue

Gábor Zsarnai, who is events manager for the foundation, said the former Tűzraktér team will hold and circus and dance workshop in the Szimpla Kert on July 22.
 
The Vitakultúra Association will also lead a workshop entitled ?A market instead of a single taste??.
 
The Fair Trade mobile café will be available for festival-goers.
 
In the afternoon, the Tűzraktér will bring a programme to the Szimpla called ?Dance and movement for everybody?.
 
A screening of the documentary film We Are Egypt ? The Story Behind the Revolution will take place in the evening.
 
The Urania National Film Theatre will host screenings of the shorts The Camel Battle and The People Demand the Fall of the Regime late Sunday afternoon. A talk on the Arab Spring with Omar Robert Hamilton, who established the Mosireen Media Center, will follow.
 
In the evening, the multi-cultural Babel Trio will take the stage followed by Taram, whose members are from Serbia, Belgium, Poland, Spain and Hungary.
 
The Anna Lindh Foundation is also organising a Ramadan Festival every Friday from July 27 in Budapest?s Museum of Commerce and Catering. The Moroccan musician Said Tichiti, who lives in Hungary, will cook in his own tent at the festival, and his band Chalaban will take the stage later, followed by Tariqa.
 
Film screenings will take place during the Ramadan Festival on August 3, 10 and 17.
