Film About Eagle, Otter Takes Top Prize at Festival

Awards were presented by the jury, headed by the director Ildikó Kormos, to both amateur and professional directors on Sunday.
 
The prize for best professional film about the lives of plants and animals went to Enikő Berta, for ?Big City Birds?. Balázs Tisza took the amateur prize in the category for ?Insequence?.
 
In the ?world landscapes? category, János Hajdu won the professional prize for a film about the Uvac Canyon in Serbia. The amateur filmmaker Tibor Sós took a prize in the category for ?At Least We Would Have Seen Bears?.
 
In the ?etude? category, József Weigert was awarded the professional prize and Péter Dancsó the amateur prize for ?Filter?.
 
In the ?lifestyles and environmental protection? category, the staff of termeszetfilm.hu won the professional prize for a 20-part miniseries. Jenő Ternyák took the amateur prize for ?Future??.
 
The Pusztater National Nature Film Festival has been annual event since 2005. Almost a hundred films were on the programme this year.
