The jury, comprising Hauke Lange-Fuchs (Germany), Mani Ramamoorthy (India) and Csaba Bárdos (Hungary), will evaluate the feature films in the festival competition and present the best one with a Don Quixote Prize.
The 6th Cinefest will take place on September 11-20. The 3rd Friends of Film Convention will take place within the framework of the programme on September 11-13.
Festival-goers can see an exhibition about the life of Franciska Gaál, the Hungarian-born actress whose talents brought her to Berlin in the roaring 20s, then to Hollywood. On the festival's musical programme are performances by the Harcsa Veronika Quartet, Singas Project and Zagar.
The festival will open with a screening of Hungarian director Áron Mátyássy's Utolsó idők (End of Times).
