First Ever Hungarian-language Premiere in Bucharest

The production was put on by the Hungarian State Theatre of Cluj, in Romania, the Csepűrágó Foundation, Nottara and the Metropolis Youth Theatre. It was directed by Gábor Tompa, manager and director of the Hungarian State Theatre of Cluj. András Demeter, from Bucharest, played Valmont, and the Budapest-based actress Tímea Buza, played Merteuil. Costumes and stage design were by the Cluj theatre?s Carmencita Brojboiu.

The play was translated from German into Hungarian by Imre Korodi.
