The troupe has set up a base near Paris and is travelling to cities around the country - among them Toulon, Reims, Nancy and Bordeaux - to perform the show.
The troupe has performed to capacity crowds from 600 to more than a thousand during the tour, said Mária Ferencz, managing director of the House of Traditions, the troupe's operator.
"We did expect the tour to be successful, but not such a breakthrough," Ferencz said.
The troupe has been to France before, but only on smaller tours.
