Maya Dumchenko, of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, will dance the lead role in La Bayadere, at the end of November.
In December, two dancers who were in the spotlight at this year's Varna International Ballet Competition will take the lead in the National Ballet's The Nutcracker: Fumi Kaneko from Japan on December 16 and 17, and the American Whitney Jensen on December 27 and 28.
Jensen's teacher Valentina Kozlova will come to Hungary to teach a series of master classes between December 16 and January 14.
In January, the American talents Judy Fugate and Patricia Barker will assist the Hungarian National Ballet to prepare Balanchine ballets which will premiere in the spring.
