On Sunday, Forgács's Miss Universe 1929 and Own Death were screened. Before the screenings, Forgács held a talk on film, memory and amnesia.
Forgács's new documentary Hunky Blues will be shown at New York's MoMA and Washington's National Gallery of Art. The film uses original recordings collected by Forgács in Washington's Library of Congress and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, as well as during research in Hungarian communities in New Brunswick.
New York's Jewish Museum will host Forgács's interactive multimedia installation The Danube Exodus between March and August, 2009.
