The Forrás Gallery will present the artists Andrea Bátorfi, Mózes Incze, Máté Orr, Péter Raab Párkányi and Ákos Szabó at stand A29.
Gallery chief Katalin Sárba said altogether 39 artworks would be displayed at the 36-square-metre stand. The works, which include oil paintings, bronze statues and photographs, cannot fully represent contemporary Hungarian art, but they can give fair-goers a ?sneak preview?, she added.
Sárba said the pieces were chosen taking into consideration the tastes of the Chinese public.
Art Beijing 2012 is an event that merges for the first time the 7th Art Beijing Contemporary Art Fair, the 7th Photo Beijing and the 3rd Art Beijing Fine Art Fair. As a result, it has become the largest forum for introducing art in the Eastern Asia.
The Forrás Gallery was a guest of honour at last year?s contemporary art fair in Beijing, showing eight artists on an area of 120 square metres.
The gallery also organised and showed at a large-scale exhibition of contemporary Hungarian art at the Chinese Museum of Fine Art. Five works by Hungarian artists were acquired by the museum for its permanent collection, Sárba said.
The Forrás Gallery plans its own big exhibition this autumn, she said.
