Forum Home Entertainment plans to release in cinemas Sex and the City: The Movie, a feature film adaptation of the highly successful television comedy series; The Dark Knight, the latest instalment in the Batman film series; and Speed Racer, the Wachowski brothers' latest effort. Forum Home Entertainment has already released I Am Legend, starring Will Smith.
DVD releases slated for 2008 include The Golden Compass, Beowulf, the musical Hairspray, Rush Hour 3, Sleuth, The Brave One, Shoot 'Em Up, Resident Evil: Extinction, and, for Romantic film lovers, No Reservations.
Among the special edition DVDs and reissues planned for 2008 are the sci-fi classics Blade Runner and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the historic drama Quo Vadis, the documentaries The 11th Hour and Deep Sea 3-D, and the romantic film The Bridges of Madison County. Forum Home Entertainment also plans a box set of the National Lampoon's Vacation films with Chevy Chase, including National Lampoon's Vacation, European Vacation, Christmas Vacation and Las Vegas Vacation.
