Love is My Sin

, a new production by Peter Brook, premiered at the Théatre du Bouffes du Nord in Paris in April; it will come to Gyula on June 29 and 30, said festival director József Gedeon. The lead roles in the production, to be performed in English with Hungarian supertitles, will be played by Natasha Parry and Bruce Myers, he added.
 
The festival within a festival will also include a production of As You Like It, directed by Attila Vidnyánszky, and the award-winning production of Romeo and Juliet by the OKT/Vilnius City Theatre of Lithuania directed by Oskaras Korsunovas. The London Baroque Ensemble and the well known soprano Emma Kirby will bring Shakespeare in Love to the festival on July 4. The Yerevan Theatre from Georgia will bring Macbeth to Gyula on July 6, and a production of The Taming of the Shrew from Poland will take place - with the support of European Union funding - on July 8.
