The Palace of Arts, in cooperation with the Madách Theatre, will pay tribute to the composer on two evenings, November 15 and 16. The programme will include songs from musicals spanning Webber's career, such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Aspects of Love, The Phantom of the Opera and The Beautiful Game, as well as songs never before performed in Hungary from Tell me on a Sunday, Whistle Down the Wind and Sunset Boulevard.
Performing Webber's works will be Pál Feke, Barbara Fonyó, Nikolett Gallusz, László Gáspár, Renáta Krassy, Judit Ladinek, Bálint Magyar, Andrea Mahó, Sándor Nagy, Lilla Polyák, Victor Posta, Péter Puskás, Magdi Rúzsa, Sándor Sasvári, Mónika Sáfár, Attila Serbán, Vajk Szente, Andrea Szulák, Judit Wégner and Adrienn Zsédenyi, the Óbuda Danubia Orchestra, the Madách Theatre orchestra, dance ensemble and choir, and the children's choir of the Madách Musical Dance School.
The November 15 and 16 shows have been sold out, but tickets are still available for the repeat performances on January 5 and 6.
