The Életfa Hungarian Folk Band, founded in New Jersey 25 years ago, and the Tisza Dance Ensemble, which was established by Hungarians from the Washington area and is 30 years old, will perform.

Életfa singer Zsuzsanna Seres said the performance was an opportunity to show their Hungarian heritage while at the same time helping them be better Americans.

Életfa will perform after the Tisza Dance Ensemble takes the stage and holds a dance class.

Washington?s National Philharmonic Orchestra performed Bartók classics at the Kennedy Center on March 8 and 10; and Hungary?s Takács Quartet played works by Schubert, Bartók and Beethoven at a concert on March 13. A production of Gypsies by Budapest?s Katona József Theatre was also on the programme.
