Segment is a series of exchange exhibitions that aim to show artists from Hungary and Asia. Segment has its roots in an artists' colony set up by the Túlsó P'art art group ten years ago. Asian artists were regularly invited to participate in the colony.

The first Segment exchange exhibition took place at venues in Japan and in Budapest in 2004. For Segment II, 15 Hungarian artists showed their work at the Zanabazaar Museum in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. An exchange with artists from Taiwan was at the heart of Segment III, and Segment IV took the work of Hungarian artists to Korea.

Segment's organisers aim to establish exchanges with artists who know little about the culture and contemporary arts of Hungary and live in countries that are also unfamiliar to Hungarian artists.

Fourteen Hungarian artists are participating in Segment V.
