Hungarian Book Fair In Romania Opens In November

A wide selection of books from Hungary and elsewhere will be shown at the event.

Last year, an anthology entitled ?Song of Songs? by Mentor publishing house won the fair?s ?Beautiful Book? award. Runners-up for the award were Károly Jánk?s ?Haiku? (Koinónia Publishing House) and Ildikó Marosi?s ?The Picture-Book of Transylvania?s Helicon? (Pallas?Akadémia Publishing House).

On the first day of last year?s fair Lajos Grendel and Ottó Tolnai welcomed visitors. Zsolt Láng presented the first book: Júlia Vallasek?s ?Slow Journeys?, published by Komp-Press.

Visitors had a chance to meet authors such as Attila Vári, Béla Pomogáts, Imre József Balázs, Lajos Kántor, Péter Demény, Gyula Dávid, György Szerbhorváth, Gábor Németh and László Garaczi at stands set up in the lobby of the theatre.
