The opera will premiere a production of Rossini?s ?La scala di seta?.
In the production?s lead roles are Sen Guo (Giulia), Christina Daletska (Lucilla), Raimund Wiederkehr (Dormont), Edgardo Rocha (Dorvil), Davide Fersini (Blansac) and Ruben Drole (Germano).
?In the young Italian director Damiano Michieletto?s production, recently staged with great success at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro, Rossini?s world is really turned upside down for once, and the figures ? every one of them on the verge of a nervous breakdown ? are led with great gusto through the chaos of intrigues, mistaken identities and misunderstandings,? the opera house says on its website.
