NL, which is being organised as part of the larger LOW festival celebrating Dutch and Flemish culture, will feature 15 Dutch designers alongside 50 Hungarian artists. Their work ranges from fashion design to interior design to jewellery design.
Several designers from the Netherlands, including Gijs Bakker, Richard Hutten, and Ineke Hans, will give talks at the event. There will also be roundtable discussions on the changing role of the city, as well as connections between architecture and design, and fashion and photography.
On Sunday, six well known Hungarian fashion designers will show their work.
WAMP was established in 2006 to bring designers closer to the public and create a common platform for unique, high-quality design objects. The monthly WAMP design fair has become one of the most important cultural and design forums in Budapest.
