Since its inception, on a hot summer day during the World Football Championships in July of 2006, WAMP has organised more than 50 fairs.
WAMP is celebrating with a design fair, a self-styling competition, a recycling workshop, DJ set and, of course, a birthday cake on July 25.
WAMP invites anybody to submit a photograph in ?summer festival ethno style? to participate in the second round of its self-styling competition. The winner of the contest will get a HUF 50,000 voucher to use at designers Artista, Balkantango, Bringabag, Camou, Panyizsuzsi, Suck Right!, Vadjutka, Zagabo or Zoephobic.
KIB will organise a recycling workshop for children and adults alike. The goal will be to put into action objects made from computer components, bottles, paper and other recyclable materials. The final creations will be floated on the water of the fountain in the square.
DJ Kilbert will play an eight-hour marathon set at WAMP's Lollipop factory stand.
The celebration will start in the afternoon with the cutting of a birthday cake.
