Hungarian driver attempts to break cartoon watching record

Laszlo Folkl watched nearly 300 cartoons of varying length in the competition that had started in the afternoon on March 4, and gave up late on Monday, twenty hours too early to break the world record, press officer of the event Szabolcs Nagy said.

Folkl set a new Hungarian record, however, and received a laptop from the jury. Gergely Molnar, who had given up seven hours before Folkl, thus winning second place, was given a video camera.
