Hungarian feature to have world premiere at Cannes Film Festival

Agnes Kocsis' second feature film is a Hungarian-Dutch-Austrian-French coproduction. Her 2006 first feature, which was her graduation film, was also shown in Cannes.

The Hungarian Film Union said Adrienn Pal shows the story of an overweight nurse who is surrounded by death, and she sets out on a journey to find her long-lost childhood friend.  
   
It will be shown in the Un certain regard selections, along 17 other films by the likes of Jean Luc Godard and Manoel de Oliveira.
   
The 63rd Cannes Film Festival will be held between May 12 and 23 this year.
