The twenty-four features and ten documentaries and shorts on the programme of this year?s festival will be shown online at www.hufestival.com, said festival director Béla Bunyik, the chairman of Bunyik Entertainment.
The festival will open with a screening of director Judit Elek?s The Return (Visszatérés), starring Kathleen Gáti, and Péter Rudolf?s Glass Tiger 3 (Üvegtigris 3) on November 9.
A performance by Hungary?s 4 For Dance, who are on tour in the United States, will round out the opening programme.
Balázs Havasi?s Concert and Csaba Káel?s film of the Ferenc Erkel opera Bánk Bán will be shown on the festival?s second day.
Hungarian Consul in Los Angeles Balázs Bokor said that showcasing Hungarian films in Hollywood was an important task of cultural diplomacy.
